MorelandConnect LLC (“Moreland”) is pleased to provide this Arrangement Letter (“Agreement”)
confirming our consulting services (the “Services”) to assist Safeguard Properties (“Safeguard”).
Background
Safeguard Properties is a leading national property preservation and field services company,
providing comprehensive solutions to mortgage servicers, investors, and government agencies
across the United States.
Safeguard is building “Preserve AI,” a client -facing portal that enables users to invoke Foundation AI
agents, monitor workflow progress in real time, and review structured results. Sub -Vacant Inspection
Review is the first active agent, with ICC Complianc e and Hazard Claim Review workflows planned
for future scope.
Preserve AI is a standalone React application, separate from the Access Today codebase. Users
authenticate through Access Today, Safeguard’s existing ASP.NET Web Forms client portal, and
navigate to Preserve AI via a link. The Access Today session provides the JWT that Preserve AI
uses for all authenticated API interactions. Preserve AI communicates with Safeguard -provided
Preserve AI API Endpoints (Lambda), which handle user -level authorization and proxy requests to
Foundation API endpoints.
This engagement covers the full front -end development of the Preserve AI portal, including the
application shell, command center, workflow progress monitoring, results visualization, analysis
history, search, and settings —all integrated with Foundation API endpoints via the Safeguard -
provided intermediary API layer.

1. Purpose
This Change Order realigns the Preserve AI — Client -Facing UI engagement with the back -end
architecture and ownership model agreed during the technical kickoff and the May 5, 2026 Program
Status #1 review. MorelandConnect now owns the full Preserve .NET AP I service (replacing the
Safeguard -owned Lambda placeholder referenced in the original Arrangement Letter), persists run
history and structured results to Safeguard -hosted Postgres via Foundation webhooks, and
authenticates to Foundation via a long -lived a pplication API key in place of Foundation -side JWT
validation.

Two further decisions landed in the May 5 review. Safeguard closed out the persistence direction — Foundation webhooks fire into the Preserve .NET API, which persists run records and structured result JSON to Safeguard’s Postgres; Preserve AI queries Postgres via the .NET API for history, search, and detail views, never Foundation directly. Safeguard also explicitly rejected Foundation-side JWT validation (“let’s not even complicate it anymore with a JWT validation”); the .NET API authenticates to Foundation via a long-lived application API key, and the shadow token design exploration is dropped.
