MorelandConnect LLC (“Moreland”) is pleased to provide this Maintenance and Support Engineering Retainer Agreement (“Agreement”) for ongoing engineering services (the “Services”) to assist the American Board of Medicolegal Death Investigators, Inc. (“ABMDI”) with the ongoing maintenance of its Microsoft Azure hosting environment and the continued software support and maintenance of the ABMDI Portal.
Background
Moreland completed the development of the ABMDI Portal in 2026, delivering a modern, mobile-responsive certification and communication portal built on .NET Core, MS-SQL, C#, and React Native technologies, hosted on Microsoft Azure. With the portal in production use, ABMDI and Moreland have agreed to formalize an ongoing support and maintenance relationship to ensure the continued health, performance, and evolution of the Portal. This Agreement sets forth the scope, structure, and pricing of that ongoing relationship, effective April 1, 2026.
Services and Scope
Azure Environment Maintenance
Moreland will provide ongoing maintenance and monitoring of the ABMDI Azure hosting environment, including:
Environment tuning and optimization to ensure efficient resource utilization and cost management
Security monitoring of the Azure environment, including review of alerts, access logs, and anomaly detection
Performance monitoring and proactive remediation of performance degradation or instability
Backup management, including verification of scheduled backups and periodic restoration testing to ensure data integrity
Software Support and Maintenance
Moreland will provide ongoing support and maintenance of the ABMDI Portal software, including:
Bug identification and resolution for defects reported by ABMDI staff or identified through monitoring
Development and delivery
