Executive Summary Assured Metals manages complex logistics between scrap yards, logistics providers, and steel mills. Currently, this process relies on manual spreadsheet reconciliation, which is time -consuming and prone to errors. While the ultimate goal is a centralized Scrap Logistics Portal, the primary technical risk lies in data reliability . If the system cannot accurately ingest the variable, "messy" documentation (handwritten tickets, thermal receipts) from vendors, the portal will create more work rather than saving it. Therefore, MorelandConnect proposes a Proof of Concept (POC) to validate the "AI Extraction Layer" first. This engagement will connect our existing user interface prototypes to a custom -built AI backend, validating that the system can automatically ingest, read, and reconcile your documentation with high accuracy before scaling to a full multi -tenant a pplication. 2.
